Well Hello,
It's been a couple days, but what do you expect from a couple of slackers? We were so good for so long, it was bound to end eventually.
Tuesday we ventured out to the Aran Islands. We were on a boat..with our flippy floppies, sailing on the great ocean road. The Aran Islands aren't far off the coast of Ireland quite pretty and on Tuesday were VERY hot. Sunscreen was needed...but not used. We are both rocking a nice shade of red. We were on Inishmor, the main island and apart from the tourist stops right off the docks, the rest of the island is like stepping back in time 100 years. It's actually pretty cool to see. We managed to get some shopping in though between drinks at the restaurant and enjoying the views.
Other than sleeping and relaxing nothing major was done on Wednesday. Although later we went for a walk near the docks and found that all the hoodrats in Galway go there to drink at night, so really why not join in. When in Rome... Sarah managed to find some Moosehead beer straight from Canada and I managed to bloody my knuckles trying to open it for her....a terrible day in the neighbourhood indeed...but a good time. You could say Bloody Knuckles from a Moosehead Mishap.
Today was a great day. We took a day tour to the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren region. The Cliffs are GOREGOUS and offer great views of the Aran Islands and Galway Bay. They are 200 metres high and are a straight drop into the ocean...couldn't imagine it would be a real enjoyable fall. We followed the tourist path as long as it would take us and then of course decided that the 'Please Do Not Go Beyond This Point' sign was a mere suggestion and ventured past it along the path that was no longer fenced in....but the view was totally worth it. Next up was the Aillwee Caves, which were discovered by a farmer chasing his dog...although we both agreed neither of us would have chased a dog up that hill. They were pretty interesting inside and even had a couple waterfalls to add to the ambience.
We are back in Galway and are here for 2 more sleeps before flying off to Germany on Saturday morning!!

hahah I thoroughly enjoyed the 'a terrible day in the neighbourhood' hahah soo brand!
