Munich Beer Challenge Anyone?

We arrived safely in Munich yesterday afternoon and after what seemed like an eternity climbing uphill to our hostel - it's actually not far minus our backpacks - we arrived at Meiningers Hostel. Definitely one of the best so far. While figuring out our next week here in Munich we met Whitney from Virginia, who forced us to go on the Beer Challenge tour with her last night. The beer challenge was A LOT of fun. We met some nice Canadians, interesting Brazilians and a lot of other great people over a litre or 4 of the finest German beer. After the tour a smaller group of us headed over to an airline themed club and danced part of the night away...but being the proud Canadians we are, we did stop at midnight and sang O Canada at the top of our lungs in the middle of the dance floor.

Today we were going to find a grocery store and stock up for the next week we will be here, but instead we found malls and starbucks...shiny things distract us easily.

Tomorrow we are headed to the Sleeping Beauty Castle...the real name I can't spell and then Friday we are going to Dachau...but I'm sure you will hear from us before then.
